What Is a Rack Busbar and Why Use It?
A Rack Busbar is a conductive power distribution component installed inside a server rack. Typically made of copper or aluminum conductors with an insulated structure, it provides a centralized pathway for distributing DC power to multiple rack-mounted devices. Compared with conventional cable-based wiring, its integrated design offers a more structured and space-efficient power distribution solution.
Designed for OCP Open Rack systems, RHI Rack Busbars connect Power Shelves or Power Supply Units (PSUs) to rack-level equipment through dedicated power interfaces. They support power delivery to BBU Shelves, IT servers, storage systems, and network switches.
