Prius battery busbars are key components in hybrid (HEVs) and electric vehicles (EVs). These flat copper bars efficiently transfer current, balance voltage and current between battery modules, and prevent overcharging or overdischarging, extending battery life.

Product Description
RHI specializes in custom-designed hybrid battery busbars and fabricated copper busbars. These CCS busbars are widely used on battery bank connection like 18650. Battery busbars are made of C110 copper with nickel plated. The surface finishing also can be treated according to customer’s request. Models and sizes can be customized.

Hybrid battery packs

Flexible insulated busbars feature laminated electrolytic copper conductors, tin or nickel plated surfaces, and EVA heat shrink insulation. With 97 percent IACS or higher conductivity and a temperature resistance range from -50 to 125 degrees Celsius, these copper busbars provide reliable high current transmission from 125A to 1600A for EV batteries, ESS, and power distribution systems.
Flexible busbars, made from thin copper or aluminum foil layers, offer excellent conductivity and flexibility. Their insulation improves heat dissipation, reduces vibration, and saves space. Widely used in EV battery packs, energy systems, UPS, and charging stations, they provide reliable performance in compact environments.
Flexible busbars are made from copper foil with thicknesses ranging from 0.1 to 1mm. Produced through welding, stamping, plating (tin or nickel), forming, and insulation (PVC dipping or PE heat shrink tubing), they offer excellent conductivity, flexibility, easy installation, and space-saving design. These features make them ideal for EV battery packs, new energy power distribution, UPS systems, and charging stations.
Rigid copper busbars excel in both mechanical strength and electrical conductivity, making battery bus bars ideal for applications demanding superior performance in both areas. And the PVC insulation offers excellent wear and weather resistance, making these insulated busbars perfect for demanding environments that need robust, stable power transmission and distribution.
Insulated busbars are widely used in EV applications. Battery busbars feature PA12 insulation with a 5000V AC withstand voltage rating. These copper busbars can be manufactured up to 3 meters in length, enabling high-precision 3D bending for complex routing requirements.
PVC dip-coated rigid busbars offer excellent insulation and temperature resistance, effectively preventing hazardous contact. Tin-plated copper busbars provide superior conductivity and heat dissipation, resisting creep under prolonged current. With support for 3D bending and perforation designs, these copper busbars ensure quick, precise installation and space efficiency, making them an ideal choice for power distribution applications such as distribution cabinets.
