Flexible insulated copper busbar, available in standard 2 or 3 meter lengths and custom cut lengths.
Copper flexible busbar is made by stacks of thin electrolytic copper and provided with black insulation according to the specifications required. The design can be fully customized to the customer requirement.
Features
- Flexibar is formed with multiple layers of thin electrolytic copper, available plain or tin plated.
- Connections are made by punching directly through the laminates. There are no lugs to purchase, which removes a faulty-connection point and makes installation simpler and faster.
- The insulation is a high-resistance, self-extinguishing PVC.
- Easily bent, folded and twisted, so the connection can be shorter and the footprint smaller.
- An alternative to large cable and rigid busbar.
- 100% production dielectric tested.
- ROHS compliant and UL94V-0.
Specifications
- Copper layer thickness from 0.5 to 1 mm.
- High flexibility and conductivity, ETP grade copper with a minimum copper content of 99.90%. Tin plating is available on request.
- Working temperature: -25°C up to 105°C (-13°F up to 221°F).
- High elongation and mechanical resistance.
- High current capacity and high conductivity.
- Cross-sectional area: 24 mm² to 1200 mm².
- Standard insulation: high quality self-extinguishing PVC.
- Alternative insulation: polyolefin or silicon coating, available on request.
- Holes are punched through the laminated foils and can be round or oblong on request.

Used in a car battery pack for battery module connection. Made of copper foil from 0.1 to 0.5 mm, nickel plated, and insulated with PVC coating.
